King-Danforth Elementary School is a public elementary school located in Macon, Georgia. The Bibb County Public Schools combined Metta T. Danforth Primary School (consisting of pre-kindergarten through second grade) and Martin L. King, Jr. Elementary School (consisting of third grade through sixth grade) to form King-Danforth Elementary School. It opened its doors in 2005, under Principal Betty Hill (2005–2007), Dr. LaQuanda Brown (2007–2009, Dr. Karen Grant (2009-2011). King-Danforth's current principal is Dr. Benjy Morgan (2011-). The school motto is "Where the Learners of Today, become the Leaders of Tomorrow".
